Apples and Pears Sautéed with Fresh Nutmeg Thyme


Serves 4


2 Tbs butter

2 large Golden Delicious apples, cored and cut into thick slices

3 medium-size red pears, cored and cut into thick slices

1 Tbs fresh lemon juice

4 tsp fresh nutmeg thyme, minced


Melt butter in a heavy skillet over medium heat.

Add apple slices and cook for two minutes.

Stir in pears and lemon juice. Cook for another two minutes.

Sprinkle with nutmeg thyme and cook for one minute.

Serve warm.
