4 boned and skinned tuna fillets or steaks, cut 1 inch thick
extra-virgin olive oil
salt and pepper
1 large tomato, peeled and seeded
½ cup green pepper, chopped
¼ cup green onion, chopped
3 Tbs fresh coriander, chopped
2 Tbs canned green chilies, chopped
1 Tbs fresh lemon juice
Rub fish with oil. Season with salt and pepper.
Grill over hot coals or under preheated broiler, turning once or twice until fish is done, about five minutes per side.
Meanwhile, chop tomato and mix with remaining ingredients. Spoon sauce over hot tuna.
